WANT TO BE A BIGGER NERD? 
With Cataclysm coming soon, and some of our normal mods unable to keep up the level of activity on the boards they once could, it is possible TMR will be looking for a new moderator sometime in the future.
New moderators are selected internally by the current moderators and is invitation only. The users we PM with an offer can either accept for decline the offer. The reason for this post is basically to reveal what we expect and look for in candidates, so that anyone interested, will know how to better their chances of an invite.
Our basic criteria are:
1. Maturity - We cannot have anyone modding who is easily worked up, childish, petty or unreliable. Good judgment, a friendly personality and a level head is what we need (I know, I know, you want to know: How did Teranin ever get in here?). No arrogant pricks.
2. Grammar and Spelling - This thing called the interweb is no excuse to butcher the English language. Capitals, full-stops, commas, paragraphing, formatting and spelling. Don't type like you are some kind of retard. Check your posts before you post them.
3. Activity - You do not need to be Wisp and check the boards every time you inhale, and post every time you exhale, but you do need a reasonable and consistent level of activity. We require a demonstrated depth of knowledge of Moonkin, obviously, and WoW in general, as well as evidence of a genuine desire to help others and not be an e-peen. The amount of time registered will also be a factor in determining if you are someone who is just passing through, or someone who is going to stick around.
We reserve the right to change our mind about all this at any point.
Remember consistency. If you suddenly start posting with proper English and saluting every time you see Foofy (she likes that, by the way), do not expect an invite tomorrow. Stick with it and you might see something in your PM box in a few months. That something may be a salmon from Teranin (whom you did not salute), or it may be an invite, who knows!?
