I recently got the 4 piece tier 10. I noticed whilst doing heroics, that the languish effect is not working correctly. I tested it out on the heroic dummy and it most definitly is not working well, and if it is, very lackluster.

When i crit for 17196 (with starfire), 7% of that should be 1203.72. However, the ticks were 122, then 95. I tested it a few more times and it keeps doing the same thing. I tried doing the same with wrath, which crit for 10975, the languish should do a total of 768.25, however it ticks for 224 and 97. Looking through my combat log, I found that the majority of the damage is actually getting resisted. When I add how much damage the ticks were, and the amount resisted, it equals what it should.

Therefore, either there is something wrong with me and that amount should not be getting resisted, or it is not a very good tier piece. Each test I did had the same results. I was wondering if anyone else was coming into this issue like I am.

hmmmm, this is indeed concerning... cant test it until I get the 4pc myself though.

Does anyone else have the 4pc yet? I personally used my emblems for 2pcT10, then the belt, idol, cloak... It will be some time before I get the 4pc bonus unless I get lucky in Vault or something.

hmm... if 4pc is bugged or simply very weak in true application I might be changing the order I buy badge gear. Currently I'm saving for my 3rd and 4th tier pieces but I may pick up the belt and cape first now. Hopefully it's a bug and blizz will fix it but they don't have the best track record for fixing these things quickly.

Guess I'll wait a few days and see if there is a blue response on the forums now that the live data is out. If there isn't or the indication isn't a quick fix I'll be putting off 4pc T10 in favor of the belt and cape.

A quick google search* revealed that Ignite reportedly had this same bug a year ago. I didn't check whether it had been resolved or not.

Wasn't the bug with Ignite that it was a level 1 spell? I posted on EJ earlier, I'm pretty sure it's the same issue here.

Regardless, I am feeling more and more confident in my decision to purchase the belt, cloak and idol after I got my 2pcT10.

tis a bug, only languishing 1%, thats the number i heard

no hotfix implemented yet, just picked up my 4pc and experiencing massive resists:

hopefully they'll fix it soon.

It's probably not a priority until people are "supposed" to have their 4T10 bonuses (some people are getting them early due to bugs on opening day/week). Still sucks for us in the meantime.

I know I could legitimately have my 4t10 now if I hadn't bought the idol.
