Anyway, back to Lich King strats..If the valkyr is near the edge and dephile gets put on the melee, how do you slow her down? I was thinking about this, do you have a mage with slow to help out while range nukes? Or another class you use?

If the typhoons daze still applies, that would be one way. I just asked Smo in the previous forum, completely skipping the fact that Leppe has killed it (grats, btw).

Also, I'm fairly certain from the videos I've scene that chains of ice still works, and to my knowledge you don't have to be in melee range for that to be effective. A pallys avenger shield would also server as a quick ranged, on the go slow.

Yeah, Chains of ice still work, thats true. We was using it easily in 10man in between chain stunning. I'm more curious about stopping her right before the edge if dephile lands on the melee. That was our major problem. People being close to the edge when a valkyr comes up.

We don't want to group up to much either to cause to much damage, so how close would be to close? From what I saw, it was like 8yards.

typhoon daze, chains of ice, hamstring, hunter traps etc etc, just figure out which is the best for you

So typhoon's daze will work on this fight? Looks like Another respec is in need.

aint 100% sure, didnt check the debuffs but everything else seemed to work and i definitely used it every time on them so

When we head back in to our 10m, I'll try it. We have 8 attempts left with 10m and around 15 with lick on 25m

Has anyone tried chain rooting the valk with our roots?

If they can be stunned, chains of iced..roots should work too. Will have to test it.

i just checked our logs and typhoon daze is never applied, but this may simply be becuase it wouldnt show over effects like blade twisting, coi, trap, hamstring.

also you should still have typhoon for lk for a certain other part of the fight
