Just something I was wondering....
..about starfall in the princes:
Some day ago I accidently pulled the stone giant boss in HoS, right at the entrance of the "cavern"...was considered at that moment as a good thing.
At Blood princes, you are supposed to "kick" orbs in the air but not too high since it can pull down the Queen...
..so I was thinking if Starfall would cause such too?
and if maybe starfall would even be considered bad in that particular fight?

Any comments? :wave

i was on kinetic bomb duty last night (our first kill too). i used starfall alot for it. i didnt see BQL coming down, i pushed them up way high.

i would say starfall is safe.

Was apparently a blue post about a bug on that fight. Would be nice to have as many confirmations as possible on this since im solo boomkin in guild and dont wanna have ppls fear in Sfa :D

I restricted my starfall use as I imagine it would be highly annoying for the ranged tank trying to aggro the blueberries!

I actually tested it out to see whether they'd aggro them, and Starfall won't hit them. I guess they're immune to anything except targetted attacks. Which is handy.

I hope this is true, as that would be amazing. All night during our learning of that fight, I was terrified to pop starfall because we were using our pally tank as a ranged tank.

I'll have to test it out tonight. Thanks for the heads up.

Yea there actually is a bug, we had the kenetic orbs explode in mid air for about 3-4 attempts (wiping us at 15% constantly). It is also good too hear about starfall not affecting the "blueberries" as well, guess i can finally pop starfall now >.<.

I had no problems in 10-man using it on a kinetic orb, we didn't get the queen by accident, I was on the right side of the room.

Came back with the logs:
http://worldoflogs.com/reports/3ngw0xq29ykeesdq/details/166/?enc=bosses&boss=37972 - Damage taken by source for Dark Nuclei.
http://worldoflogs.com/reports/3ngw0xq29ykeesdq/spell/53195/?enc=bosses&boss=37972 - Damage done by Starfall by target.

Also shows it doesn't work on the Kinetic Bombs, which makes sense I suppose, how easy would that be. :)

I was casting Starfall every time it came off CD, never once did a Nucleus take a hit off it. And several times I was right on top of at least one.

It definitely hit my kinetic bomb. Shows up as 10 absorbs.

i'd test this, but im going to be relegated to tree status for blood princes i think... being the only dps that has a decent healing offspec/set sucks sometimes =(
