Hey all,

I've been raiding for a couple of weeks now, and I do decent on overall DPS (about 45-55k depending on fight) - but I see logs of people doing a lot better than me. I'll be posting logs after my raid on Thursday to see where I've been going wrong, and meanwhile, I decided to go over to Mr. Robot's place to see if everything was okay.

From my current setup: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/jubeithos/Owlcapwn/advanced

Mr. Robot is saying to do these:
Lose: 347 intellect, 3.26% crit, 0.51% hit (to get to 14.91% - may be sub optimal I guess, but not that big a deal)
Gain: 8.6% Haste, 0.50% mastery

Also asking me to change my int/crit gems to +320 haste and one haste/spirit gem.

I'm not sure about this, but no where have I read that I should sacrifice int + crit both to get to the 5278 (I think?) haste plateau. So I don't mind doing the reforges, but regemming everything is a bit much if I need to change it back again.. So is Mr. Robot right?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Posting a link to your character and then logging out in Resto PvP gear is not very helpful.

I believe the Haste breakpoint of 5273 is preferred if you can reach it and then go Crit from there.

I did the exact same thing for my raid last night, I reforged and re-gemmed away from crit in order to reach the haste 5273 breakpoint. For me it seemed like a DPS loss, I reforged in the middle of the night back to crit and noticed a rise in my DPS.
I have seen multiple places that the 5273 breakpoint is important. This is just my personal experience.

My best advice:
I would try them both out, if your aren't strapped for cash, and see which fits you better. Often times depending on play style, how exact you are in your rotation, how much you are forced to move or do other things, and how well you manage your dots can make one stat better for your play style even if it isn't the consensus stat.

Just my 2 cents.

I have a questions to add to this-> With the 4 piece should i go for the minimum haste or go as close to the 8,XXX haste mark as I can for quicker hard cast spells? I tried it for the first time tonight with minimal haste needed for the 2nd breakpoint and I felt so sluggish, especially in Heroic HoF which some fights requires some movement.
