Even if they did stay on it, that would be terribly inefficient, when using a faerie swarm/target last target macro is probably the best thing you can do on that fight.

Gone are the days when we maintained our own basic raid guide, but I thought at least we can keep a current link library here of important links to help Moonkins stay up to date and raid ready.

Thanks for the clarification. I wouldn't mind having both to try them out. Right now, I just have the LFR Cha-Ye's and it doesn't seem to proc as often as BoH.

HotW is meant to grant benefits for druids temporarily to fulfill a different role. What you have to take into account, when talking about the performance in each role, is that gear also plays a part still. Only on a high movement phase of a fight would it be possibly beneficial to use HotW for "mooncat" dps, and in this case, you are attempting a role completely different from your gearing. You can macro an agi weapon, but that's it. Tanking is in the same boat; you can do it but it really isn't that great, only in a worst case scenario to save your raid if you lose a tank.

Boomkin healing with HotW is amazingly powerful, since the spells are free to cast and we already have a ton of intellect/crit, so our healing throughput is powerful. Starting T15, I saved my raid more than a few times with it. Mooncat is marginal, possibly more damage in certain situations when undergeared, most cases best to just keep dps as moonkin. Tanking is decent if your healers are ready to pick...

What would the rogue do for you? Something for the team, or for symbiosis-cloak?

Rogue himself has Cloak which allows him to take more stacks compared to the other melee, ignoring the debuff and the damage it causes, and it would be just as OP for a boomkin copying it through Symbiosis.

As a long time lurker, it's nice to see someone post.

I was actually considering the Destructive Primal Diamond for Meta.

I just got back into the game myself, but the more I play PVP now, the more important i see getting those Starsurge procs, hence the crit on this gem. The spell reflect could be a nice RNG bonus too.

For boots I would pretty much always look for the speed boost enchant, Enchant Boots - Pandaren's Step, looks like the appropriate one currently.

Talents

I've been playing around with Cenarion Ward and quite like it, 100k worth of healing every 30's, helps keep me topped up rather than needing the NS+HT oh crap button. I know you can use it for instant cyclones, but i found i was using NS+HT more often, and I would always save it for the oh crap moments, rather than using it every time CD is up.

Also been playing with HOTW, which seems decent, but thinking of trying out Nature's Vigil again.

Mind you I am a scrub that has never played a BG, and have ...

If you are using the kiting strat, then the chance of you doing more dps than you currently are is low.
So I wouldn't worry about it too much. For you it's a lot better than it looks for me, i have 4 other dpsers nuking down bats constantly staying over 200k dps, and i'm trailing hard behind.

However with the kiting tactic, your groups dps requirement is basically no existent as you're completely removing something that needs to be dps'ed. All you need is one huge tone of burst at 20% because that tank is gonna get overwhelmed by turtles and adds after that, and if you don't kill it fast enough the bats will be everywhere.

We tried both tactics, but it seemed much more controlled to take the bats out. We never got to 20% with the kiting strat, and to be honest i'm kinda glad, because there is absolutely nowhere to stand at 10% lol.

On the thought of SotF, you do now save at least 1 cast either way, because it got buffed to 40 energy from 20. Also i find that at the moment i'm hecti...

On the paper HotW outshines NV. As for the top logs I see both talents. I would say they are kinda close in practice, however, HotW is much more convinient since you don't have to remember about it.

As for FoN, there are still discussions - it might be interesting with next patch changes.

Haste should be above 5273 - next breakpoint isn't realisticly in reach yet. Haste isn't really an issue with mixed T14/T15 gear so I wouldn't worry about it too much. It is true that at some point haste will start becoming slightly more interesting than crit (mostly due to many SS procs going to waste with higher crit levels), however, I'm not sure if we experience that in T15 content - maybe close to BiS gear but this issue is still being discussed.

you might be able to find the debuff for being targeted, but last time I tried to check it didn't show up unless you got hit by the beam.

I found that stacking on the grates in the sides helped, so that all the orbs would be coming from directly in front of you. Also, near the end of the phase the tanks would move towards the middle so the boss would be farther away when the last set spawned.

With our switch to 25man raiding we are looking to add at least one more moonkin to our roster.

Chaos Maleficarum has decided to switch it up a bit and start working towards 25man progression. We're currently looking for dedicated players that enjoy raiding in a competitive atmosphere. We're looking for players that are trying their hardest and want to do heroic raids. With the addition of Throne of Thunder we're requiring a minimum of a 485ilvl and knowledge of 4/4 ToES. We'll be raiding 10mans until we can fill a 25man roster.

You get to use NV or NV+Inc in every puddle and, barring bad luck, tunnel the whole time. Damage mod fights prefer NV over HotW because of the way bonuses stack.
